A few kilometers are the reserve of the Lagoon with its islands, salt marshes and windmills. Also ideal as a starting point for day trips to the nearby Egadi Islands, Mozia, Selinunte with its archaeological park, the temple and amphitheater of Segesta and Selinunte, the medieval town of Erice, Trapani, Palermo.
